Swim bag: with 5 exterior pockets and 3 interior, this one is perfect for allll the pool things. Water bottles, sunscreen, hats and sunglasses, towels, toys…it holds it all. Bonus that it’s ethically made + fair trade verified meaning I can feel so good about my summer style! The artisan group who makes this bag is working to transform the fashion industry in India, creating opportunities for women and marginalized artisan makers in New Delhi.

Swimsuit: who needs a lot when you have clear favorites? This is one of two suits I’m wearing all summer and here’s my honest review: it’s super cute and pretty comfortable. Every time I wear it someone asks where it’s from. However, either I got a defected one or the quality just isn’t great— seams inside are twisting and it’s super annoying. If I were to try this style again, I’d get a different color because the white has definitely stained in the past 1.5 years since I got it. Is it sustainable? The most sustainable thing we can do is wear what we have so for me, yes. But can I recommend it as sustainable? Since I cannot, I’m linking an alternative option!

Denim shorts: I have two pairs that I love and this is one of them. Unfortunately I can’t link them because I cut them from jeans, but I shared all the tips and tricks on how I picked out the perfect pair + how I cut them into shorts. Upcycled is cool this summer and forever; pass it on. 😉

Slide sandals: With two small children, I’m always lugging stuff. So having a pair of simple slides that are stylish and comfortable makes my outfit feel complete. These are handwoven + ethically made with the highest quality. I’ve worn them pretty hard for 2 summers now and they hardly show any wear. Quality=longevity=sustainability!

Sunnies: these are so old that I can’t remember where I got them. The most sustainable thing we can do is use what we already have, so I’m going to make them work!
