It’s sweater weather! Time to dust off those boots and pull sweaters out of storage. Maybe you feel like I used to: some sense of dread that you’ll have nothing to wear this fall or winter. Maybe you love the coziness of the season but also feel overwhelmed by your current closet and ‘don’t have anything to wear.’ I’ve been there, too!

Maybe you’ve tried one, maybe you love it, or maybe you think it’d stifle your creativity. For me, capsules serve a really important purpose.

Given a limited amount of options that work fairly well together reduces a lot of the decisions I need to make first thing in the morning. Less decision fatigue? Ok, I’m in!

They also help me explore my creativity and style because I’m starting with a solid foundation. Adding and experimenting with print, color, texture, and silhouettes from there is so much easier.

Lately I’ve focused on honing in on my style and attempting to create a more cohesive capsule that still offers plenty of interesting textures, details, or silhouettes that feel more like ‘me.’ My Fall Capsule Wardrobe is one of the favorites I’ve created to date!
